Celebrating Our 10th Anniversary: Rogue Winterfest 2012

Sing Recycling

Rogue Winterfest is a magical five-day Festival held at Evergreen Federal Bank’s Bear Hotel in Grants Pass, Oregon. Each year, 4,000 people attend a series of delightful events over the course of these five days, making Rogue Winterfest Josephine County’s largest winter festival.

Proceeds from the event help thousands of children, youths, adults, and families in need of mental health services at Family Solutions, Kairos, and Options for Southern Oregon. Funds for these nonprofit agencies are raised through sponsorships, ticket sales, Silent Auction bids, the Gala Auction of 25 beautifully decorated trees, and works of art designed by local artists. Our theme for 2012 is Southern Oregon Bounty.

This year, we celebrate Rogue Winterfest’s 10th Anniversary! To commemorate this special anniversary, we have added new events and creative touches.

The Golden Social (a new event, a private viewing for 55+ only) – Friday, December 7

On behalf of Family SolutionsKairos, and Options for Southern Oregon, we thank you for your support. We hope you will be part of Rogue Winterfest’s 10th anniversary celebration.

We would like to thank Evergreen Federal Bank for graciously donating the use of The Bear Hotel for all Festival events; Cauble and Cauble Attorneys at Law, for their Diamond Sponsorship; Taprock Northwest Grill, for sponsoring the Southern Oregon Bounty Gala Event and Auction; and Highland House and Royale Gardens for sponsoring the Golden Social.

Featured Sponsor: Evergreen Federal Bank

Evergreen Federal Bank is proud to sponsor Rogue Winterfest for the sixth consecutive year. “Through our participation, we are able to support local nonprofits and strengthen our community,” says Evergreen Federal Bank President Jeff Hyde. “We applaud the work that Family SolutionsKairos, and Options for Southern Oregon do for our community.”

This year’s event promises to be “Out-of-this-World” as Evergreen’s Bear Hotel takes Christmas on Mars into the realm of 3D. Bear Hotel artists are already beginning to transform displays into artwork visitors can step “into,” giving the experience a whole new experience.

“Our goal is to utilize the Bear Hotel as a community asset,” adds Jeff Hyde. “We look for ways to create positive experiences that people of all ages can enjoy while benefiting our community.”

We want to send a special thank-you to the Bear Hotel staff for everything they do to ensure the success of Rogue Winterfest!
